1. Service Description
SacBizPages provides a simple, professional website service for Sacramento-area small businesses. When you enroll, you receive:
- A professional website built from our standard template and hosted at sacbizpages.com/your-business-name/
- Color palette of your choice — select from 6 curated color themes (B/W, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Orange)
- Four sections:
- Home — Hero section with your business name and brief description
- About — Your business story and key features
- Services — List of services or products you offer
- Contact — Your phone, email, address, hours, and service area
- Navigation menu linking to Home, About, Services, and Contact
- Web hosting — your website stays live on our servers
- A unique QR code for your business cards (links directly to your website)
Why is this affordable? We keep SacBizPages pricing at just $500/year by using a standardized template model. Instead of custom design for every customer, we've built one clean, professional template that works for any small business. We populate it with your information, you choose your colors, and we publish it. This approach means lower costs for you — no expensive custom development, no long contracts, no per-hour designer fees. You get a professional web presence without the typical $2,000+ price tag.
2. What's Not Included
- No ongoing changes: Your website is published once. After the initial launch, we do not make updates, modifications, or changes to content, design, or structure.
- No customizations: The website uses our standard template. Custom design, custom features, or bespoke development are not offered.
- No additional services: This service includes only the website and hosting. We do not provide SEO services, marketing, maintenance, support hours, or technical consulting.
- No email hosting: You keep your existing email account. We do not provide or host email services.
3. Payment Terms
Your website costs $500 per year (or current price as stated at enrollment).
Invoice & Payment
- You will receive an invoice annually
- Payment is due within 5 business days of invoice receipt

⚠ Important: If payment is not received within 5 business days, your website will be taken offline and removed from the internet until payment is received in full. There will be no additional notice. Once payment is received, we will restore your website within one business day.
Late Payment & Non-Payment
- If payment is 5+ days overdue, your website becomes inaccessible
- Your website will remain offline until payment is received
- You are responsible for communicating with us if you have payment issues (email: [your email])
4. No Warranties or Guarantees
You agree and understand that:
- No guarantees on uptime or security: While we use reliable hosting, we make no guarantee that your website will always be available, will never experience outages, or will be completely secure from hacking or data loss.
- No guaranteed sales or traffic: Having a website does not guarantee you will get customers, leads, phone calls, or increased sales. Your success depends on marketing, reputation, and other factors outside our control.
- No implied warranties: This service is provided "as is." We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
- No liability for damages: We are not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences from using (or not using) this service, including lost business, lost revenue, or indirect damages.
- No backup guarantee: While we maintain hosting infrastructure, we do not guarantee data backups or recovery. You should maintain your own copies of all content, images, and information you provide.
5. Your Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate, original content and information for your website
- You are responsible for any legal issues with the content (trademark, copyright, defamation, etc.)
- You must pay invoices on time (within 5 business days)
- You accept that the website is live after initial publishing and cannot be changed by us
- You must provide your own email contact information and manage customer inquiries independently
6. Content Ownership
- You own all content you provide (text, images, descriptions)
- You grant SacBizPages a non-exclusive license to publish and host your content on the website
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all images, text, and media you provide
7. Cancellation & Termination
- You may cancel at any time by providing written notice
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing year
- No refunds are issued for partial years
- Upon cancellation, your website will be removed from the internet
8. Changes to Terms
SacBizPages may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the new terms. We will notify you of major changes via email.
